Filter cloth mainly includes: polyester filter cloth of filter press, polypropylene filter cloth of filter press, nylon filter cloth of plate frame filter press, vinylon filter cloth of plate frame filter press. As an important part of filter press, filter cloth has a great influence on the normal operation of filter press. If the filter cloth is damaged, folded, wrinkled and other problems in the working process, it will affect the filtering efficiency of the equipment, which needs to be solved in time to remind the majority of users to pay attention to this problem.

The wrinkle phenomenon of filter cloth is usually caused by incorrect alignment, and the insufficient tension may also cause wrinkle of filter cloth. Although the filter is equipped with a weighted rotating wheel to tension the filter cloth, the wheel also needs to be weighted additionally. The roller slide block is provided with a notch for weighting.

Sometimes, on the filter cloth roller or sliding adjusting block, the deposition of solid matter will lead to the dislocation and wrinkling of the filter cloth. When this happens, stop the filter first, and thoroughly clean the rotating roller and sliding adjusting block. Start the driver and readjust the filter cloth for centering and tensioning. Then carefully observe the accumulation of solids during the normal operation of the filter. If necessary, increase the amount of flushing water to wash away the residual solids. Remind everyone, in the process of solving the problem of filter cloth, keep the filter cloth in the middle without wrinkling. Only in this way can the solid-liquid separation work be completed smoothly and the proper equipment treatment effect be exerted.

Then we will talk about the filter plate. The filter plate is an important part of the filter press. The quality of the filter plate is related to the final effect of solid-liquid separation. In the process of choosing filter press, how to distinguish the quality of filter plate?

First of all, the necessary conditions for the newly purchased filter plate are basically the same size as the matched filter plate of the original equipment. These conditions include the length, width and thickness of the filter plate. If there is a deviation, it will cause the filter plate to move left and right when it is placed on the equipment crossbeam, and even it may not be placed up, thus seriously affecting the overall operation of the filter press.

Secondly, there are holes in the filter plate. As the filter plates are all made of polypropylene hot-working casting, they can only be used after heating the filter plate raw materials of the filter press. Therefore, the filter plate is easy to cause holes in the casting process. When the holes reach a certain space or quantity, the filter plate is not a qualified product.

Then, it is the depth of filter plate depression. The depth of the filter plate depression determines the workload of each clearance cycle of the equipment (usually the depth of the filter plate is about deep, and the workload of each time is greater), but it is not that the deeper the better, but when the depth of the filter plate depression exceeds the ability of the filter plate to bear strong pressure, the filter plate is easy to fracture or damage, and even can cause sudden bursting of the filter plate, damaging life.
